Waterford police investigate burglary at Illiano's

Waterford — Police are investigating the early Thursday morning burglary of Illiano’s Restaurant located at the intersection of Broad Street and Jefferson Avenue.

Police said they responded to the eatery at 2:42 a.m. after a burglar alarm was set off. Police said there was evidence that a burglary had occurred and that the suspect fled the area on foot toward 6th Avenue or Phillips Street.

Anyone who may have witnessed something suspicious is asked to call police at (860) 442-9451 ext. 392. All information will be kept confidential.
