ECC to hold annual Coaches vs. Cancer Night

The Eastern Connecticut Conference will hold its Eighth annual Coaches vs. Cancer Night on Thursday and Friday.

The event, which features ECC boys' and girls' basketball teams, will help raise money and cancer awareness with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Coaches will wear sneakers with the regular coaching attire, pink will be worn by student-athletes in the form of uniforms, shooting shirts, wrist bands, socks, headbands, etc., $1 from each ticket sold at all games will be donated to the American Cancer Society and additional fundraisers will be held by individual schools and teams.

Following is a list of games involving local schools (all games tip at 7 p.m.): Thursday - Boys: East Lyme at Ledyard, Stonington at Plainfield.

Friday - Boys: NFA at Bacon, Woodstock at Fitch, Killingly at Waterford, Montville at New London, Tourtellotte at Wheeler; Girls: Ledyard at East Lyme, Bacon at NFA, Fitch at Woodstock, Waterford at Killingly, New London at Montville, Plainfield at Stonington, Wheeler at Tourtellotte, Windham at St. Bernard.
