Good Reason to Give

Walkers stopping by Page's Hardware on Feb. 15 were greeted by Guilford High School students Bella Zira, left, and Jamie Holcomb, who are trying to raise money to help feed hungry children in the Horn of Africa. The girls are working with members of the Branford United Methodist Church Youth Group and plan to take part in the 30 Hour Famine, an event held by World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization. They hope to raise $4,250, enough money to feed 10 children in the developing world for one year. In the past two years, they raised about $6,000.
