    Post-game breakdown: Temple

UConn surpassed last season's victory total with a 68-55 victory at Temple on Thursday night.

The Huskies improved to 21-5 overall, 9-4 in the American Athletic Conference. They've won seven of their last eight games.

Senior Shabazz Napier played his usual starring role, finishing 17 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. It is his fifth double-double this season. While he converted just 3 of 11 from the field, he hit all 11 free throw attempts.

Three other Huskies scored in double figures: Ryan Boatright (14), DeAndre Daniels (13) and Amida Brimah (10). Brimah also added five rebounds.

They swept the season series from the Owls, who shot just 34 percent from the field.

They're tied with Memphis for fourth place in the AAC. They host third-place SMU on Sunday afternoon in Storrs.

They moved to 5-3 on the road, improving on last season's 4-5 mark away from home.
