State police investigating theft of 12-ton trailer from state DOT worksite

Griswold - State police are investigating the theft of two vehicles including a 12-ton trailer stolen from a state Department of Transportation work site on Route 165 off Burdick Road.

Police said the theft happened Feb. 12 or Feb. 13.

The second theft occurred Feb. 10 or Feb. 11 when a camper trailer was stolen from a private residence on Bethel Road.

Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to call Trooper Gregory Hunter at (860) 848-6522.
