Groton — The U.S. Submarine Veterans Groton Base has planned several upcoming events.
The monthly membership meeting for all members and anyone interested in joining will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 3, at the clubhouse, 40 School St.
The monthly Steak N' Eggs Brunch will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, March 2. Regular brunches are served on the remaining Sundays of the month. A corned beef and cabbage dinner is planned for 5:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 at the clubhouse. Members and their guests are invited. Reservations are required by Wednesday, March 12 and advance payment of $9 per person is required.
The Subvets World War II chapter will meet for its monthly social and lunch at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, at the clubhouse and the Holland Club will meet for its monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, at the clubhouse.
A new lunch menu will be served in the clubhouse beginning Monday, March 3. Lunch is served 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. A Mardi Gras menu will be served Monday, Feb. 24 through Tuesday, March 4. There will be lunch specials including fish on Fridays during Lent.
