    Imagine Dragons at Mohegan Sun

Imagine Dragons lead singer Dan Reynolds

You know you're a Rock Band of the Moment when you:

    A) play on "Saturday Night Live"

    B) take part in a Beatles tribute show that stars actual Beatles

    C) win a Grammy

For Imagine Dragons, it's: check, check, and check.

This rock band is on a roll. The Grammy, by the way, was for Best Rock Performance for "Radioactive." Just last week, that song became a record-breaker; it's now the single that has logged the longest time on the Billboard Hot 100 chart by hitting its 77th week. (It takes over the title from Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours," which was there for 76 weeks.)

Imagine Dragons, which performs Saturday at the Mohegan Sun Arena, has been out touring for a while and so is switching some things up on this arena tour. One such thing: taking on the stratospheric Rush song "Tom Sawyer." Lead singer Dan Reynolds told Rolling Stone, "It's just an intimidating song. It's so cool, because I found this whole new register. I've been taking additional voice lessons and figuring out how to tune into my upper range more."
