A man’s body was discovered today at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Killingworth.
State police and environmental conservation officers responded to the park at around 4 p.m. for report of an untimely death, according to State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection spokesman Dennis Schain.
Schain said conservation officers are working with police to determine the circumstances of the man’s death. The park, typically open until sunset and a popular spot for hiking and fishing, was closed after the discovery.
