Assessing the damage in Chile

Fishermen look for boats to salvage Wednesday in the port of Iquique, Chile. Chilean authorities discovered surprisingly light damage Wednesday from a magnitude-8.2 quake that struck in the Pacific Ocean Tuesday evening near the mining port of Iquique, a northern coastal city of nearly 200,000 people. Fishing boats were lifted onto city streets and others were sunk in the port. Six deaths have been reported.
