Stoned Conn. slips toward 'Detroit coma'

You must be so proud Connecticut. The state that built the first nuclear-powered sub, contributed countless man hours and technology to winning the Cold War, produces pillars of academic achievements from an Ivy League institution, now says - Hurrah! - we're opening medical marijuana dispensaries.

This is what all the work and skill has produced? Pat yourselves on the back folks; this is progress. While Connecticut slips into a Detroit coma, we will have prescription weed. This state used to be a powerhouse of tech and skill that was unmatched in the world. Now we are known for the death of liberty and a pot store.

I am not arguing about marijuana, legal or illegal, my true complaint is whether it makes Connecticut better? I don't see it.
