East Lyme hearing on golf carts set for April 23

East Lyme— A public hearing to allow golf carts on town roads within seven communities will take place at 7 tonight at Town Hall.
The communities under consideration are Crescent Beach, Oak Grove Beach, Black Point Beach Club Association, Old Black Point, Giants Neck Beach, Pine Grove and Saunders Point.
The proposed regulation on golf cart usage is available at Town Hall and on the town’s website.
Discussion and possible action on the golf cart regulation are on the agenda for the special Board of Selectmen meeting following the public hearing.
