Terror Trails is the latest haunted experience sweeping the nation which immerses campers into a 13 hour hair raising scary story. Campers will arrive at dusk to settle in their camps for the evening and join in a communal BBQ, where everyone can mingle and get to know each other. After eating, as the darkness sets in, the camp will join around the fire for an old fashioned scary story… but campers beware! This scary story will begin to come to life, setting the stage for the terror the night is to bring.
After the campfire, the campers will break into groups to complete a series of dares, challenges and missions, all formulated to tap into the camper’s worst nightmares and push them to their terror limits. Once the tasks have been completed, the campers will be allowed ample time to sleep, if they dare! This experience is a full 13 hours, so campers should always expect the unexpected. After the sun is up, the Terror Trails staff will provide the campers with a continental breakfast and a chance to reflect on who has survived the night.
Terror Trails is designed to terrify and all participants will sign up for the event with this as the ultimate goal. Participation in any or all activities is not mandatory. Those campers who wish to opt out of the experiences may stay near the campfire to enjoy Hollywood’s best horror flicks on an eight foot movie screen. Those participating understand that the challenges may include isolation, sensory deprivation, water spray and splash, rough terrain, sudden loud noises, live actors and other visual and special effects (including being restrained, gagged, and blindfolded). The intention of this event is to only startle and frighten the participant and at no time will participants be placed in any REAL danger.
