Montville — State police arrested an Oakdale couple Thursday for allegedly selling heroin.
Cristian Caba, 28, and Krista Raffo, 29, both of 622 Route 163, were each charged with possession of narcotics and risk of injury to a minor.
Caba was also charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell and operating a drug factory.
Police on Thursday executed a search and seizure warrant at the couple’s residence. The search warrant was obtained after a months-long joint investigation conducted by members of Troop E, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force — East, the Norwich, New London and Montville police departments and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
Police said they seized 380 grams of heroin, packaging materials, scales, cutting agents, three cars and $13,676 in cash. The street value of the drugs was estimated at $38,000.
Caba was released Thursday night on a $600,000 bond while Raffo was released on a $25,000 bond.
