The lineups have been announced for the second annual Mystic Blues Festival taking place June 27 to 29 at the Mystic Shipyard. It's a versatile collection of acts boasting all-world headliners such as blues legends Johnny Winter (June 28) and James Cotton (June 29) - along with free-flowing jamsters the Spin Doctors (June 27), who are debuting a new blues-based album.

Other national artists performing are Jaimoe's Jasssz Band and Roomful of Blues (both on June 29), and Christine Ohlman & Rebel Montez with the Sin Sisters (June 28):

Also confirmed for the festival:

June 27 - Eight to the Bar, David Foster & the Mohegan Sun All Stars, and Easybaby.

June 28 - Mystic Horns, Neal Vitullo & the Vipers with Dave Howard, a Student Spotlight with Nolan Leite, Jacob Graham, Zeb Mrowka, and Jessica Oddi, James Montgomery Band, Chris Mackay & the ToneShifters, Sugar Ray & the Bluetone, Bad News Barnes & the Brethren of Blues, and the Greg Sherrod Blues Band.

June 29 - The Cobalt Rhythm Kings, Rick Russell & the Cadillac Horns with Matt "Guitar" Murphy, the Franklin Brothers Band, Ryan Hartt & the Blue Hearts, and the Alexis P. Suter Band.

On June 26, the festival celebrates with a kick-off party featuring Jim Weider and Project Percolator at the Olde Mistick Village Arts Cinemas.

Unlike last year's inaugural fest, where performances were spread out among several Mystic venues, all of the 2014 shows take place in Mystic Shipyard West, 100 Essex St., Mystic. Tickets are available for separate days ($78) or through a complete weekend pass ($207). For more information, go to mysticbluesfestival.com or email info@mysticbluesfestival.com.
