Holmberg hosts Coventry farmer’s market

The Coventry Regional Farmer's Market will return to Holmberg Orchards & Winery for the 2nd annual Pop-Up Farmer's Market on Sunday, May 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Featured will be more than 30 farmers and artisan vendors, wine tastings, wagon rides through the orchards, live music by acoustic blues guitarist Ramblin' Dan Stevens and food trucks. This event will launch the Coventry Farmer's Market season, which begins the following week at the Nathan Hale Homestead in Coventry.

Expected products include, but are not limited to, fresh and aged cheeses, naturally leavened wood fired breads, granola, cider doughnuts, pasture-raised meats, free-range eggs, sweet horseradish pickles, fresh pasta, asparagus, rhubarb, fingerling potatoes, lettuce and braising greens, rustic soap, dog treats and prepared foods.
