Power mostly restored in several towns

Power has been restored to the majority of residents in several towns who lost power this morning after several power lines came down near a substation in the area of Exit 74 on Interstate 95 south.

The power outage was reported at 8:15 a.m. Residents in Lyme have their power back. At its peak, 846 customers were in the dark.

Connecticut Light & Power is reporting that 336 customers in East Lyme are still without power. While in Old Lyme,  8 customers are in the dark.
