Young Women’s Chorus presents free concert in Westerly

The Young Women's Chorus of San Francisco under the direction of Susan McMane, will perform in Westerly on Wednesday, June 18, at 7 p.m. The 31-voice chorus will perform at the George Kent Performance Hall accompanied by pianist Margaret Halbig.

The Bay-Area chorus will sing a program featuring many styles, from chant to Broadway selections. The program includes music by Hildegard von Bingen, Johannes Brahms, Stephen Paulus, Ward Swingle and others. San Francisco composers Frank La Rocca, David Conte and Henry Mollicone will be featured. The program is free and will be approximately 70 minutes long.

The George Kent Performance Hall is at 119 High St., Westerly.
