Local woman arrested in connection with Clinton burglaries

Clinton — Police arrested a New London woman who they say was involved in the November burglary of the Town and Country Market on Glenwood Road.

Police obtained an arrest warrant and  charged Brandy Williamson, 32, of 62 Jay St.,with two counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and first-degree criminal mischief.

Police said they responded to the market on Nov. 28. It was the second burglary that occurred in the store within a month.

After an extensive investigation, police said they were able to identify Williamson and another suspect, Anthony Guddo, as the burglars. Police said the pair are responsible for numerous burglaries across the shoreline.

Guddo’s arrest is pending as he is currently incarcerated on numerous robbery and burglary charges.

Williamson is being held on a $100,000 bond, pending her arraignment today in Middlesex Superior Court.
