UPDATED: I-95 South in Old Saybrook reopens after car fire

Old Saybrook – Emergency personnel have reopened the two lanes that were temporarily closed on Interstate 95 South because of a car fire Thursday evening.

The fire was reported by the DOT at 8:04 p.m. between Exits 70 and 69. Two lanes were closed until about 8:30 p.m.
