Yes, you blew it out at Sailfest last weekend.
And yet you're totally compelled to head back to downtown New London on Saturday for the Traditions Festival in the Hygienic Art Park. The annual celebration of folk and Americana - and all sorts of intriguing musical mutations thereof - has a fine track record of finding new and unique talent and putting together programs of eclectic acts that nonetheless compliment each other in a tantalizing overall package.
5 p.m. Little Ugly - acoustic folk-rock
6 p.m. Dan Blakeslee - solo troubadour/storyteller
7 p.m. Craig Edwards and the Root Farmers - string band/Delta blues
8 p.m. The Silks - driving blues-rock
9 p.m. Joe Fletcher, Ron Gallo, Andrew Combs and the Hang Ten-and-a-Half Band - quasi-super group exploring honky-tonk and roadhouse traditionalism
