Waterford to host voter registration

Waterford - The Registrars of Voters will hold voter registration Tuesday, July 29, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the registrars' office in Town Hall, for the Aug. 12 primary elections.

Waterford residents who wish to register must bring proof of name and address such as a driver's license with current address, recent bills such as telephone or electric bills, other mail, library card or other identification, according to Democratic Registrar Diana Cramer.

Voters unaffiliated with political parties and those registering to vote for the first time may choose to register as a specific party, according to Cramer. Those already registered with a party, including those registered as independents, may not change their party at this registration session, she said.
