The Fish Tales, Tugs and Sails event Saturday at the New London Waterfront Park was the ninth annual free, nautically themed event that emphasizes reading and learning about the environment. The participating Thameship tugboat, built originally for the U.S. Army in 1940, was acquired in 1970 by the Thames Tugboat Co. of New London.
