Keith Rocco won two events and set the Waterford Speedbowl's career record by capturing his 63rd SK Modified feature on Saturday night.
Rocco, who won his ninth Late Model feature earlier in the night, broke the old record of 62 career SK Modified victories previously held by Dennis Gada. The two wins were also the 97th and 98th of his career at the Speedbowl.
His win in the 40-lap SK Modified race came despite suffering damage to his car following an accident on lap 9.
Other feature winners were Franklin's Josh Galvin in the Street Stocks (his ninth win of the season), Lisbon's Ken Cassidy Jr. in the Mini Stocks (his fifth win of the year), Corey Barry in the SK Light Modifieds (his fifth of the season) and Dan Meservey Jr. in the Pro 4 Modifieds of New England.
In the 30-lap Late Model event, Rocco trailed Jason Palmer until getting inside of him on lap 15 and holding off Palmer the rest of the way to win for the third straight week.
Galvin, meanwhile, received a lift from his pit crew following a broken transmission in qualifying. It was repaired just before the start of the race and despite starting 12th, Galvin worked his way into the top three when a caution flag came out on lap 10. He took the lead from Ryan Waterman two laps later, relinquished it to Waterman three laps later, but moved back into first on lap 16 and took command.
Cassidy won tough battle against Larry Loomis in the 25-lap Mini Stock race. Loomis lead for 20 laps until Cassidy used an outside maneuver to take the lead.
