What to do on a summer Sunday evening with the family? Well, blow off "60 Minutes." What's fun about that? Instead, consider an event that's rich in color, pageantry, vibrant dance and cultural history. As the latest in its Serious Fun series, New London's Hygienic Art Park presents the Angkor Cambodian Dance Troupe. An outfit rooted in upholding ancient traditions of Khmer performing arts, the Angkor Dance Troupe has performed in the White House and been featured on the Travel Channel - as just a representative sample. The show starts at 7 p.m. Sunday. The Hygienic Art Park is at 79 Bank St., New London. Admission is $10 or $25 for families. For more information, access angkordance.org or call the Hygienic at (860) 443-8001.
