Branford's town website has made a dramatic change with the launch of it's newly redesigned web page. On Aug. 25, more technological fireworks will arrive when the town launches MyBranfordCT, its first mobile app. '
The new web page maintains the town's website address of www.branford-ct.gov
The following statement from First Selectman Jamie Cosgrove appears on the new page:
"We are proud to announce the launch of our newly redesigned Town website. Our old website served us well for the past ten years, but technology continues to develop and with this redesign we will be able to take advantage of the most current tools to enhance communications between our town government and citizens. What are some new items to check out?
The new site has a modern layout and design and is optimized so that you may view it on multiple devices and using any level of internet connection. So whether you are on an iPad, Android device, iPhone or a computer, you will be able to view the website at your convenience.
Citizen's Alert Tool
Our newly created Citizen’s Alert Tool has its own app, which can be downloaded from iTunes or the Google Play store. The app is called MyBranfordCT (Available August 25, 2014). This tool will provide a login to report a non-emergency notification to any Town Department (potholes, drainage issues, etc.) Included with the app is also a direct link to our Town meeting calendars, news-feed and mobile website. The Citizen's Alert tool can also be used directly from our website by clicking on the button labeled 'Report a Problem.'
As you look around, you’ll find other features more accessible; documents, public videos, an updated 'How Do I?' listing of services at Town Hall. We hope you will enjoy the new easy-to- navigate and enhanced format. Please feel free to leave your comments and questions at any time. Thank you for visiting our Town website."
