'Beatlemania' fundraiser coming to Stonington High

Stonington - The national touring production "Beatlemania the Stage Show" will perform in the Stonington High School auditorium on Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. to help raise money to support the school's music program.

High school music students will perform with the "Beatlemania" musicians on some songs. Tickets for the show are available at www.purplepass.com, at Chelsea Groton Bank locations in North Stonington and Pawcatuck or by calling (800) 316-8559.

"This event is both educational and a fun way for the Stonington High School music program to raise money and will be a great experience for the students to perform with a professional group of musicians," said high school Music Director Katrina Gottlieb.

The touring company is expected to perform the complete Beatles experience from Ed Sullivan day's through the Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road with period costume changes and authentic Beatles instruments.
