Uplifting experience at Groton church

Shelley Steendam of Gales Ferry, one of the youth leaders at the Bishop Seabury Church in Groton, attempts to load a box filled with donated items for Operation Christmas Child into a tractor-trailer at the church Sunday. Each box contains 14 to 16 shoeboxes filled with donated school supplies, toys and hygiene items for needy children overseas. Seventy-one boxes were loaded into the truck.
