Take a guided tour of Ye Antientist Burial Ground

Tour Ye Antientist Burial Ground in New London - one of New England's earliest - with art conservator Lance Mayer and New London City Historian Sally Ryan.

The walking tour starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19. Meet at the burial ground and stay for cider and cookies afterward.

The site, at the corner of Hempstead and Granite streets in New London, was set aside as a burial ground in 1645.

The cost is $7 for adults; $6 for AAA, seniors and college students; and $15 for families. It includes admission to the nearby Hempsted Houses afterward. Connecticut Landmarks members are free.
