Legion Post 112 selling Veterans Day luminaries

Montville — The American Legion Post 112 and the Women’s Auxiliary in Montville will light luminaries around the post in honor of the past and current veterans and those serving today on Nov. 11.

Every luminary bag will be imprinted with a sponsored name by a family member or a friend, along with the branch of military service. Each will have a special color indicating whether the person is a deceased veteran, a living veteran, or someone currently serving. They also will include whether the person is missing in action, killed in action, or was/is a prisoner of war.

The cost is $10 per bag. To purchase a luminary bag for the display, stop by Post 112 or call (860) 848-1393.
