Seaman Apprentice Elmer Ennis, the class honorman, was meritoriously advanced because of his academic performance. Seaman Recruit Isaiah King received the Submarine League's William Purdum Award for most improved student and Seaman Recruit Zachary Massey received the Navy League Award.
