Libaro V. Benvenuti, 93, a longtime resident of Clinton and Old Saybrook, died peacefully on Aug. 24 at the Apple Rehab in Old Saybrook. He was the devoted and loving husband of the late Anna (Ronna) Benvenuti. Libaro was born in Williamsburg, Massachusetts, son of the late Alberto and Ida (Ghiandoni) Benvenuti. He had been employed for many years at Unilever in Clinton.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the Robinson Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church of the Visitation, 54 Grove St., Clinton, at 10 a.m., followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
