Massachusetts man arrested after allegedly harassing Montville 911 emergency dispatcher

Montville — A 62-year-old Massachusetts man was arrested Friday at Mohegan Sun after calling 911 five times and “yelling various obscenities” at a Montville dispatcher, police said.

Joseph Parisi, of East Longmeadow, Mass., was charged with second-degree breach of peace, misuse of an emergency 911 system, and second-degree nonthreatening harassment.

The Montville Resident Trooper’s office, with help from the Mohegan Tribal Police Department, found Parisi, whom police said was intoxicated, at Mohegan Sun.

Montville police arrested Parisi at 5:36 p.m. on Friday. He was released on a $5,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 6.
