    St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Mystic to restore cross atop spire

    Contractor Edward Coney, left and foreman Luis Tenezaca of Residential Home Improvement, LLC remove the 5-foot-tall copper cross from the spire of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in downtown Mystic Thursday as part of the church's ongoing restoration project. Coney will be taking the cross to be restored and refinished and is scheduled to be put back in place by Christmas.
