    Waterford defeats East Lyme 22-16 in Thanksgiving Day matchup

    Waterford – Waterford has rallied with a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns to defeat East Lyme 22-16.

    Trailing 16-7, the Lancers pulled ahead by 16-14 on Jake Mangual’s two-yard run on the first place of the fourth quarter before Chase Speller ran for his second touchdown of the game, a 14-yarder, with 8:15 remaining. Mangual passed to Isaiah Jones for the two-point conversion.
