Cambridge acoustic guitarist/banjoist Sam Moss - whose visionary approach to traditional music is inspired - headlines a compelling folk music bill tonight in New London's Washington Street Coffee House. Moss' songs are at once haunting and refreshing and pull the roots of Appalachia into the new century. Also performing are Dan Thompson - renowned as the fiddle player for The Can Kickers - and fingerstyle guitarist Richard Zack. Showtime is 7 p.m. and admission is free (collected donations go to the artists). Oh, and for those who like to feast whilst being serenaded, it's $2 Taco Night.
