40 Under Forty event scheduled for Jan. 9

The Third Annual Southeastern Connecticut 40 Under Forty Awards will take place at Fox Tower at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Jan. 9.

The event is a joint effort between the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, Greater Westerly-Pawcatuck Area Chamber of Commerce, Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce and The Day Publishing Co. These awards are given to recognize 40 of the best and brightest individuals in the community under 40 years of age who have consistently demonstrated excellence in their profession, as well as leadership, commitment, and service to the region.

The cocktail reception is at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. No Shame will provide the entertainment. To purchase tickets call (860) 887-1647.
