NLVO schedules Stand Down planning meeting

New London — The New London Veterans Organization Stand Down event is tentatively scheduled for April 27 at the Crocker House in New London from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. The next planning meeting for the event is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Jan. 28 at 236 Montauk Ave. As it stands now, representatives from the following organizations will be present at the planning meeting:

- UCFS

- Americorps

- SNAP

- TVCCA

- American Job Centers

- Calvary Chapel

- Rep. Joe Courtney

- Neff Productions

- Homeless Hospitality Center.
