Summit on tourism, marketing set for Wednesday
State and local tourism officials will participate in a summit on tourism and coordinated marketing from 9:15 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Charter Oak Federal Credit Union, 1055 Hartford Turnpike, Waterford.
Hosted by the Southeastern Connecticut Cultural Coalition and the Eastern Regional Tourism District, the event is free and open to coalition partners and the general public.
The panelists are Ed Dombroskas, executive director of the tourism district; Tony Sheridan, chairman of the Greater Mystic Visitor's Bureau and president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut; Bence Strickland, The Day's manager of publications and tourism; and Randy Fiveash, director of the Connecticut Office of Tourism.
