USS Kentucky Class Joins the Fleet

Groton—Sixty-one Sailors of "Class 15160" of the USS Kentucky (SSBN-737) graduated from Basic Enlisted Submarine School on March 20.
Seaman Recruit Gage Folz was class honorman and was also meritoriously advanced because of his academic performance. Folz continues in Apprentice Team Training (ATT).
Seaman Jason Persoon received the Navy Core Values Award for best exemplifying the standards and expectations of a U.S. Navy sailor.
Seaman Britton Garcia was recipient of the Submarine Heritage Award.
Seamen Neil Abante and Nicholas Schumaker and Seamen Apprentice Nathan Willis and David Walker were graduates with distinction.
