State police charge man with murder in Lebanon death
Lebanon _ State police have arrested a local man and charged him with murder in connection with the death of man "in the area of Ledge Road" Sunday morning.
Alan Nadeau, 31, of 67 Ledge Road, was charged with murder and is being held on $1 million bond at the Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center pending his arraignment Monday in Norwich Superior Court.
The victim has not been identified. That is expected to occur after his next of kin is notified and an autopsy is conducted on Monday.
The Eastern District Major Crime Squad and state police Troop K investigated the case. Police said they went to a residence in "the area of Ledge Road" after receiving a 911 call at about 4:30 a.m., according to a state police press release. There, police said, they found a man with life-threatening injuries. Emergency medical crews later pronounced the man deceased.
