The song "Ursula" tells the story of Warwick, R.I., singer-songwriter Joanne Lurgio's late grandmother, who was a tap dancer in the days of vaudeville. Lurgio, who sang in church and the theater before she started writing her own songs, continues to be influenced by her grandmother's spirit.

During her performance Thursday on The Day's "Live Lunch Break," Lurgio describes playing the song in the recording studio when the lights started to flicker — an indication of Ursula's presence.

You can watch Lurgio's performance of the song, and several other tracks from her new album "Rise from the Storm," at www.theday.com/livelunchbreak. Keep an eye out for any otherworldly apparitions.
