    H.S. roundup: East Lyme girls rout Amity 17-3 in lacrosse

    Woodbridge — Karlie Rowe had six goals and one assist as East Lyme remained unbeaten with a 17-3 non-league girls' lacrosse victory over Amity on Friday.

    The Vikings (5-0) led 12-0 at the half.

    Elena Hynes added three goals and one assist for East Lyme while Hailey Gordon and Steph deLaforcade each had two goals and two assists, Taya Valdez had a goal and two assists, and Hannah Gellar had one goal and one assist.

    In other games:

    • Unbeaten Williams School broke open a tight game in the second half to defeat Marianapolis Prep 18-8 in the Southeastern New England prep league. The Blues (5-0, 3-0) outscored Marianapolis 9-2 in the second half. Sophie Salgar scored eight goals for Williams, Audrey Matson added three goals and three assists while winning eight draws and Katia Bourganos had three goals and two assists.

    Boys' lacrosse

    • Lucian Kronholm scored three goals as Williams avenged an early-season loss to Marianpolis with a 7-4 win in New London. Kevin Masson added two goals, two assists and 10 ground balls for the Blues while Eli Bunnell had one goal and one assist and Oliver Falla scored a goal.

    H.S. boys' golf

    • Wheeler's Mike Anderson took medalist honors as the Lions beat Griswold 7-0 in an Eastern Connecticut Conference Division III match. Anderson shot a 1-over-par 37 at Stonington Country Club and had a birdie on the par-4 fourth hole. Kody Lewis, Matt Worobey, Nolan Arruda and Alec Rustici also won their matches for Wheeler (1-1, 1-0).

    • Mason Sweeney shot a 41 at Lyman Orchards Golf Club to help Old Lyme sweep host Coginchaug and East Hampton in the Shoreline Conference. Old Lyme finished with a 171 medal total to edge Coginchaug (174). East Hampton finished at 237. Graham Aird and Peter Macadam each shot 43 for the Wildcats while Will Roberts added a 44.
