No justice in Norwich for the Derby junket

You didn’t need a crystal ball to predict the outcome of Derbygate in Norwich. The utility commissioners have voted to put a letter of reprimand in General Manager John Bilda’s personnel file and take no further action on this matter. In Groton they voted to remove a utility commissioner who attended the trips. Here in Norwich it is business as usual and the good old boys are sticking together.

We the people (ratepayers) have no say in how our publicly owned utility is run. Come November remember the two City Council members who handpicked the utility commissioners – Peter Nystrom and Stacy Gould. I urge you to contact your state legislators and ask that the state take control of Norwich Public Utilities as we the people have no say.
