Blade Runner 2049

“Blade Runner 2049” is amazing to look at. The creative concepts, the production design and the cinematography are all out of this world. But the story and tone are grim, and the pace is plodding, which makes spending nearly three hours watching this film a chore. I do hope that Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford co-star in a different production together, because they and their chemistry add a little spark to what is otherwise a tedious “Blade Runner 2049.”
