I wear a surgical facemask whenever I go out in public, i.e, hospitals, doctors, grocery shopping, the mall, etc. It definitely doesn't add to one's looks, but neither does the flu.

I went shopping at a grocery store wearing this hideous looking mask, and people came up to me saying, "Oh, you are so smart to wear one of those."

I couldn't resist, and asked them if that made them dumb? Well? Why would you not wear one? Why would you stop me and tell me how smart I am?

If more people would wear these masks, maybe the flu wouldn't be as widespread as it is. I just don't understand, why invite sickness into your homes and to your family members?

Think, it may save your life.
