Llama Tsunami plays Strange Brew Pub
Ska music definitely has legs. Really long legs.
And why not?
Hooky and dance floor-infectious, ska by definition is designed to make your ears, heart and feet happy.
Llama Tsunami, from Uncasville, is a nine-piece, seasoned-beyond-their-years ska band whose 2014 "Safety First" is their second full-length album. The band has appeared at the SXSW festival in Austin as well as in Boston's Paradise Rock Club and Lupo's in Providence - and their horn-driven energy takes a time-honored musical form capably forward.
Expect much joy when they play Friday in Norwich's Strange Brew Pub. Shore City and Suspect are also on the bill.
