Bank Square Book hosts Mark Wisniewski and Greer Macallister

The "author luncheon" concept is, let's face it, brilliant. But what if there are TWO novelists at the same event? Fabu! On Wednesday, Mark Wisniewski and Greer Macallister are guests of honor at a luncheon in Mystic's Bank Square Books.

Wisniewski, a Pushcart Prize winner, is touring behind his new literary thriller "Watch Me Go." Bronx resident Deesh Sharp has managed to stay on the right side of the law by hauling junk for cash. But when a delivery leaves him the suspect in three murders, he goes on the run - and discovers an unlikely ally in Jan Price, a young jockey pulled into an underworld of gambling.

Macallister's first novel, "The Magician's Lie," is a historical mystery concerning a famous female illusionist renowned for a trick in which she saws a volunteer in half. When something goes awry, she stands accused of her husband's murder and has one night to convince a small town policeman of her innocence.
