Dime Bank Foundation supports senior center
Dime Bank Foundation has awarded $1,500 to the Rose City Senior Center in Norwich to provide financial support for extended hours for a benefits counselor.
The counselor will help frail elderly clients access such benefits as Medicare and various assistance programs.
Established in 1973, The Rose City Senior Center is a department of the City of Norwich and a branch of the Department of Human Services. The center is the primary point in the community for information, resources and activity for individuals aged fifty-five and older.
