"The Book That Gets Better With Age: Observations Through the Looking Glass of Aging" by retired Stonington advertising executive Tim Love has just won a Reader's Favorite Award for Illustration, the fourth award for the publication in the past six months.

The book's illustrator was Terry Demaline.

Among the book's other wins were the Bookvana Award for health and wellness and an International Book Award in the health and aging category. Since the book's January launch, it has sold out four times on Amazon.com.

The publisher, LID, is currently preparing to launch a paperback version in February 2017, and plans for publishing it in Mandarin and Japanese are in the works, Love reports. An English version will likely be out in India, Singapore and Australia sometime next year.

Bank Square Books in Mystic and Savoy Books in Westerly were among the local stores that helped launch the book.
