DeMolay is a club for boys ages 12 thru High School thats been in North Haven for 55 years and nationwide for over 90. Based at the North Haven Masonic Lodge on the town green, we will be having pickup games of Frisbee, Wiffleball and flag football. Don't like sports? We'll also have video games inside and maybe some "Yu-Gi-Oh" if you bring your cards. Parents, please join your son and find out what DeMolay can do for him. We provide programs with community service projects, leadership training, program planning, public speaking and we do it to in a fun and safe way. On Sunday, April 22, Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts is hosting a fashion show as a preview to this year’s highly anticipated PopArtsBall, with the exciting theme, “A Night at Warhol’s Factory.”

Designed to inspire what to wear to the ball on June 2, this event combines a lively fashion show of sixties attire with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the newly refurbished Old Lyme Inn.

Fashions generously provided by Tova’s Vintage Shop in Old Saybrook will be modeled by local volunteers. Betsey Cooley of The Cooley Gallery in Old Lyme will emcee. Tickets are $20 and include both a glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres. Space is limited, so advance reservations are recommended.

Accompanied by bassist George Mraz, Iva Bittova gives unique performances that draw upon her training in drama, classical violin and singing.
Influenced by Jazz, Rock, Czechoslovakian folk music and classical violin training, Bittova creates unique vocal and violin sounds than have always been described as thrilling and impossible to categorize. As expected from an actress featured in a Czech film nominated for an Academy Award in 2004, her
performances have a dramatic cohesion that is spellbinding. Her concert is part of the 38th season of the Collomore Concerts in the historic Chester Meetinghouse.
